Workplace experience is often reduced to physical real estate. At Dashlane, we view it differently.
We look at Workplace Experience the same way a great hospitality brand views a guest: Every single touchpoint matters, and consistency builds trust.
Our goal is to ensure that every time someone walks through our doors—in New York, Boston, Paris, or Lisbon—they feel genuinely welcomed and supported.
How we come together at Dashlane
That mindset shows up in the everyday details. The fully stocked kitchens, weekly team lunches, recurring happy hours, and a tasty tradition we call "Sweet Mondays" all give people small, reliable reasons to connect in person.
Rather than grand, ad hoc gestures, we prioritize making sure that when someone comes into the office, the experience always feels intentional.
In addition, we provide regular opportunities for engagement and togetherness across all our teams. From cultural initiatives to community-building activities, each office runs a unique calendar of events tailored to its local team, such as:
- Lisbon: We celebrate our team’s love for outdoor space by hosting a summertime rooftop gathering.
- Paris: Our team hosts karaoke night for the Fête de la Musique festival.
- New York: Our office gathers each year for a fall fruits festival.
In every location, our local Dashlane Life planning teams are constantly generating creative and fun events that bring us together. Shout out to the team that hosted last month’s ice cream sundae bar; it was a real treat!
These moments are about far more than just fun and free food. They act as the intentional glue that builds our culture, creating lasting memories, exemplifying our company values, and fostering a genuine sense of belonging where employees feel seen, valued, and connected to one another.
The vibrant energy of our international team fuels our shared commitment to creating an exceptional workplace experience in every location. Each office is shaped by the people and city around it, meaning New York, Boston, Paris, and Lisbon each feel distinctly like themselves.
Yet, even as the offices embrace their unique local character, we remain united by a cohesive global standard of care. At its core, our diverse and dynamic global team is the heartbeat of our culture, proving that while we’re spread across the world, we’re always connected by our shared energy and purpose.

Bridging the distance
Distance is the biggest challenge for any global team, so we’re always finding ways to stay connected and close the gap between offices.
Every Tuesday, we run video portals that connect our locations in real time, giving Dashlane employees an easy, informal way to see and interact with colleagues across the globe. We also cultivate connections through global engagement opportunities, such as our Earth Week walking challenge, our Movember “match the ‘stache” trivia, and our end-of-summer Dashlane Spirit Week.
We’ve found that some healthy competition to see who can walk the most steps in a week (while raising money for reforestation work) or naming some famous mustaches is a wonderful connector.
Above all, these moments ensure that wherever we are, we feel like one team, keeping that shared energy alive and reminding us that connection is at the heart of everything we do.
Designing space around how people actually work
A modern office has to flex between focus, collaboration, and celebration, often on the same day. Thus, our offices are versatile, intentional, and flexible. They can support quiet, heads-down work one moment and a large-scale team event the next.
We pay close attention to how our spaces are used. Whether it’s desks, meeting rooms, phone booths, or our shared flex and common areas, we’re constantly looking for ways to ensure our offices remain comfortable, effective, and productive for everyone. By keeping a pulse on the rhythm of our daily office life, we can proactively adjust our space to ensure it always supports how we work best.
A successful workplace isn't about the office itself, but the community we foster within it. By staying adaptable and listening to our employees, we’re creating a Dashlane experience that’s as dynamic as the people who work here.
