Introducing Dashlane OmnixTM: Nix Credential Breaches with Complete Credential Security
Insights meet action in Dashlane Omnix, the AI-accelerated platform that delivers proactive intelligence, real-time response, and protected access.

With the rise of hybrid work and employees’ use of unsanctioned apps, businesses are becoming increasingly vulnerable to attacks from hackers. With the power of AI, hackers are also becoming more skilled at launching effective and highly targeted attacks.

Security and IT leaders need a more proactive, intelligent approach to credential security. They must move away from solutions that only provide password management to solutions that empower them to proactively protect against the entire lifecycle of credential-based threats.

That solution is Dashlane OmnixTM

Dashlane Omnix is the first omni-intelligence platform that unifies proactive intelligence, real-time response, and protected access to provide businesses with complete, proactive credential security across their workforce.

“So much of credential security has been reactive and siloed, where enterprises react to breaches rather than proactively address and mitigate the risk before it metastasizes,” said John Bennett, CEO of Dashlane.

“The power of Omnix lies in its pairing of unparalleled insights with action to truly impact behavior and give enterprises the means to build long-term resilience and improve overall security.”

Traditional security measures fail to protect businesses

Credential theft attacks surged by 703% in 2024 due to a rise in phishing activities aimed at stealing user credentials. And security and IT leaders are taking note, with 84% reporting an increase in both the volume of attacks and the sophistication.

Artificial intelligence (AI) makes the situation even worse as employees use GenAI tools that are out of the reach of single sign-on (SSO) and often multi-factor authentication (MFA). Also, hackers take advantage of AI to launch large-scale, targeted attacks to steal credentials.

The traditional reactive approach is not enough to get ahead of threats, and SSO, MFA, and traditional password management only cover a portion of human risk.

“Credential security is truly at an inflection point right now,” said Dashlane Chief Technology Officer Frederic Rivain.

“The average employee can face several phishing attempts in just one day, and IT teams need the tools to monitor, support, and empower employees to mitigate risks.”

Meet Dashlane Omnix: Industry-leading innovation for credential security

Dashlane Omnix empowers enterprises to proactively protect against credential-based threats across the entire organization, enabling IT and security leaders to shift from reactive protection of credentials to proactive, real-time detection of credential threats across the entire enterprise.

Businesses using Omnix are already starting to see the value of proactive credential security. More than three quarters (79%) of customers utilizing Slack-based employee alerts saw targeted at-risk passwords changed to secure passwords, demonstrating the effectiveness of seamless, workflow-integrated nudges in driving action.

Built with businesses, and particularly enterprises, in mind, Omnix’s foundational components ensure complete credential security across the entire organization:

  • Proactive credential protection: Empowers security teams to continuously detect and respond to credential threats, including across unmanaged apps and shadow IT. Thus, security teams build a more phishing-resistant enterprise and protect against at-risk credentials before those credentials lead to account compromise.
  • Enterprise password management: Gives end users a secure place to store, share, and manage every credential—even those not covered by SSO—through an encrypted vault and easy-to-use browser-based solution. Security and IT managers can enforce policies, gain in-depth reporting on their credential security posture, and integrate with their broader tech stack.
  • Dashlane Smart Extension: The majority of employee work is done through the browser, and the Omnix platform is seamlessly deployed across the browser for every employee through the Dashlane Smart Extension. The extension gives IT and security managers unprecedented visibility into at-risk credential activity happening in the browser, shadow IT, and suspicious websites not discoverable by native app-based solutions.
  • Dashlane Secure Cloud: The foundation of Omnix is the Dashlane Secure Cloud, combining the strengths of zero-knowledge architecture and confidential computing to extend zero-knowledge security from client apps to the cloud. Customers can also utilize Omnix’s Secure API to augment their security tech stack with credential threat intelligence.

Underneath it says “Credential Protection” on the left and “Password Management” on the right. In the center of the image is “Omnix™, intelligent credential security.” Below that is “Dashlane Secure Cloud,” then below that is “Secure API.” Four capabilities branch out underneath: MFA, SSO, IdP, and SIEM.

Password management and credential protection–all in one platform

An innovation in credential security, Omnix is the first-ever platform to combine credential protection with password management to give enterprises the visibility and the control to secure every employee credential.

Omnix utilizes AI to quickly process unstructured data and intelligently predict threats targeting businesses–providing IT and security leaders real-time alerts to potential threats.

As part of Dashlane Omnix, we have also released several new capabilities to help security leaders pinpoint risk and then react in real time:

  • Credential Risk Insights: With in-depth insights, security and IT leaders can immediately understand and respond to credential-based risks across the entire enterprise before those risks are exploited. These insights include: The total number of employees using weak and compromised credentials, the volume of compromised and weak credentials, the most at-risk employees, and security posture improvement over time.
  • In-context alerts: These easy-to-understand alerts are delivered directly to the employee as the credential-based threat is happening, which is crucial in mitigating the risk before it leads to account compromise. Dashlane Omnix enables real-time response to credential risks directly in Dashlane or through popular communication platforms, like Slack, notifying employees when they’re using a weak or compromised password.
  • Expanded enterprise deployment options: Dashlane now supports Group Policy Objects (GPO) as a deployment method for Credential Risk Detection, in addition to Microsoft Intune and JAMF. Now, it’s even easier for businesses to gain visibility into their credential security posture across the entire enterprise.
“Reacting to credential threats doesn’t get you very far. With Dashlane, we’ve been able to take a more intelligent, proactive approach to reducing potential credential risk before it becomes a bigger issue.”

—Aidan Turner, Manager, Identity and Access Management, Downer Group

The future of credential security starts now

In a world where cyber threats are evolving faster than ever—and where human behavior remains one of the greatest vulnerabilities—enterprises can no longer afford to rely on outdated, reactive security measures. Traditional password managers, SSO, and MFA alone are no match for the complexity and scale of today’s credential-based attacks.

Dashlane Omnix is more than a solution. It’s a shift in strategy.

By unifying credential protection and password management into a single, intelligent platform, Omnix empowers IT and security leaders to take control of their organization’s weakest points with proactive detection, in-the-moment response, and enterprise-grade protection.

With Dashlane Omnix, credential security becomes smarter, faster, and fully integrated—so your team can identify and neutralize threats before they escalate.
