Dashlane on Liquid Glass: A New Era of Apple Integration

Published:
Dashlane is fully optimized for iOS 26 and macOS 26, embracing Apple’s Liquid Glass design for a clear, fluid, and secure experience everywhere.

We’re thrilled to announce that, from day one, Dashlane is fully optimized for iOS 26 and macOS 26.

For the era of iOS 26, Apple has introduced "Liquid Glass"—a dynamic, translucent design language. Inspired by visionOS, it fluidly reflects its surroundings, creating a more elegant and integrated user interface.

This shift is not just a visual refresh. Rather, it's a new design language that allows apps to feel more alive and seamlessly connected to the entire operating system.

Adopting Liquid Glass doesn’t mean reinventing Dashlane’s apps from the ground up. We’ve simply followed the latest best practices for the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), ensuring our apps look right at home on Apple platforms.

Clearer, more fluid navigation

We believe navigation should be intuitive, not distracting. That's why we've refined our interface, crafting the top layer from the Liquid Glass design language to create a clear distinction between the app's controls and your vault. This separation allows you to see and interact with your data without getting lost in the navigation.

We’ve also made significant improvements to the Search feature within our autofill. Now, with easy-to-reach primary actions, finding what you need is more convenient than ever.

The result is an interactive, "liquid" feel that keeps your focus exactly where it needs to be.

A dynamic app icon

We've redesigned our app icon to be a natural part of the new iOS 26 interface. It’s now more dynamic and expressive, catching the light to create a subtle sense of depth.

Our goal was to create a design that felt instantly familiar yet excitingly new, ensuring the Dashlane icon looks stunning on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

A complete visual refresh

Every part of the Dashlane app has been polished to align with the new design language.

  • System cohesion: By leveraging Apple's latest development tools, Dashlane automatically adopts system-wide changes to shapes, sizes, and toolbar icons. This ensures the app always looks and feels like a natural extension of your device.

  • Refreshed controls: Buttons, toggles, and other controls now adopt softer, rounder forms that elegantly nestle into the corners of your screen. They subtly transform into Liquid Glass when they’re interacted with, providing delightful visual feedback.

  • More room to breathe: We've increased the spacing and padding throughout the app. For example, your vault lists now have a larger row height, making everything more readable and comfortable to use.

Enhanced cross-device productivity

With the new iPadOS 26 windowing system, Dashlane is more powerful than ever. We've brought the precision and convenience of a desktop app to your iPad, allowing you to multitask and manage your data effortlessly. The app intelligently adapts to any window size. Plus, with full support for pointers, trackpads, and a wide range of keyboard shortcuts, you'll always be productive.

These updates also gave us a chance to refresh the user interface for our iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch apps. Now, with the new Liquid Glass design, you'll get a consistent, fluid experience no matter which device you're using.
