But wait… What if Dashlane gets hacked? Is it safe to put all my passwords in one place?
Great question, but putting all your passwords and personal information into Dashlane is actually much safer than not using a password manager. Here’s why: Dashlane stores and decrypts your information locally on your device using your Master Password. So even if someone did hack Dashlane, it would be like breaking into a bank but not being able to open any of the vaults, because not even Dashlane has the keys.
