As you’ve probably noticed, we’ve begun rolling out Dashlane 2.0 – it’s the biggest update in Dashlane history! Given the magnitude of the changes, we’re rolling it out to our current users in a staged fashion to make sure it’s a smooth update for everyone.
We expect to finish updating all our users with Dashlane 2.0 by early next week. And while we’re sending out emails about the changes and how they’ll affect your account, we want to let you know about some changes in the interim, especially those regarding our new Premium offering.
When we released Dashlane 2.0, we also introduced our new premium offering: the entire product remains free for all users on any given device, but only Premium users will have access to automatic, secure cloud backup of their encrypted data and the ability to sync their data across (unlimited) devices, for $19.99 per year.
This new Premium offering is being rolled out into the product within the next few days as well. We think our new offering is clearer, simpler, and better suits user expectations. Also, it’s a model that allows us to continue to grow and improve the value that Dashlane brings to you.
For our current users – we are in the process of creating the right solution to bring you into the post-2.0 structure, where automatic backup and sync are Premium features. You will hear from us really soon (again, within the next few days,) about the same. If you have any questions regarding any communication you receive from us about this change, please contact us at support@dashlane.com.
We want our users to know that we appreciate the support you’ve given us from the beginning. We’ve made some big changes, and we’ve worked really hard – night and day kind of hard – to bring you an amazing new product and to do right by you. We’re all incredibly excited to finish launching it to you soon and hearing what you think about the new Dashlane!
