We received some great news earlier this month. Dashlane has been selected to demo at FinovateEurope in London this February!
FinovateEurope is a conference for financial and banking technology innovations, widely known for the demo-only style. Last year’s presenters include some of the biggest names in financial-technology, including PayPal, eToro, and Sandstone. Not to mention, a fellow FirstMark Capital startup, Second Market, is also a Finovate alum.
Finovate presents a great opportunity for Dashlane to show some of the most innovative minds in Europe’s financial tech-scene just how disruptive our technology is and the implications it has for Europe’s e-commerce market.
Not only that, but it’s a chance to defend our title! Last year at Finovate Fall in NYC, Dashlane went home a winner of the “Best in Show” award, thanks to an equally astounding and entertaining demo of our iPad prototype by Emmanuel Schalit, our CEO, and Nishant Mani, our VP of Partnerships & Marketing.
This time around, we’re planning to demo Dashlane’s core technology: a desktop and mobile app that enables instant checkouts, logins, and form-filling, universally on every website and device, without the need for site-side integration. We may also launch a brand new feature that world has never seen before. You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!

If you had a prototype that was used for the live demo in the video wouldn’t you have the iPad app on your roadmap? If that was truly a live session @ Finovate that looked like a late Alpha quality interface.
I’m waiting on Dashlane’s iPad release so I can go to a single pwd mgr. Right now I still have to use 1Password because they have a complete implementation across all of my devices. I’ll happily become a premium Dashlane customer once the iPad app is out.
Dashlane easily has the cleanest UI of the pwd mgr’s out there and I can’t wait for the Dashlane portfolio\feature set to be complete. If you open a beta program for the iPad app I’d happily test for you.

Thanks for your comment. You’re right – I should have clarified. We went back into brainstorming mode with our iPad app shortly after our Finovate demo. We want to make a truly unique Dashlane experience for iPad. That being said, we’re out of brainstorming mode, and iPad is back on our roadmap because we’ve started to develop it. Porting our tech to the iPad is quite a bit of work, but we on a steady course to get it done in the next couple of months. We’ll keep you updated. Hang in there :)
